SPECIALTY GLASS

MLC specialty glass can range from custom mirrors for around the home to accents for cabinetry and much more. Custom Edgework

Finishing the edges of a glass substrate is an uninterrupted process, allowing us to deliver a safe product. A cut edge is the sharp edge created when glass is scored and vented. Seamed edges produce a small bevel that is safer to handle, less likely to chip. Most finished glass parts are seamed on both sides, in addition, corners can be dubbed. Ground edges have a finish that has a satin appearance. Polished edges have a smooth shiny appearance. MLC has capability to finish edges with ground or polished flat or pencil profiles.

Custom Shapes

We can cut and fabricate any shape by the use of hand cutting or by computer we can use provided patterns, sketches, and CAD files to perform accurate shape cutting to your exact specs.

Notches and Custom Cutouts

MLC specializes in cutting glass into any shape to meet your specifications. MLC can cut annealed or flat glass into any size. Aided by computer optimization, digitization and two electronically controlled cutting tables, our master craftsmen and state-of-the-art robotics and computers can cut and fabricate glass into a variety of shapes and patterns.

Our tempering furnaces are supported by fabrication equipment for holes, notches, cutouts and edgework. We can drill holes of any size using our water-jet technology.

Custom Engraving

One of our Hole and Notch Technician positions the glass on one of our CNC machines for computer-controlled drilling and notching to create custom engraving.

Sandblasting

Choose from our extended library of designs or send us your own design to be sandblasted or etched. Enhance the look of your shower unit, cabinet or tabletop glass with art.
