COMMERCIAL GLASS

Our commitment and expertise can guarantee a quality unsurpassed anywhere in the glass industry. Production is done primarily in our own 120,000 square foot factory, utilizing the latest high-tech glass processing machinery available. We constantly strive to build on our reputation for quality along with our history and passion for continual improvement and product development.

Insulating

Insulated glass typically consists of two or more layers of glass that are sealed together with air or gas trapped between the two layers. MLC is in the forefront of sealed glass manufacturers and offers a wide spectrum of insulated glass units. Our vertical insulation glass production line, which includes two station sealing robots, applies the most thermally efficient insulating glass spacer available today.

Commercial Buildings Architectural Glass

With an extensive range of coated and uncoated glass types, MLC can satisfy the most demanding architectural requirements. This can include slope and butt glazing applications, silicone seal and dual seal.

Tempering

At MLC, our furnaces use the latest convection heat methods to achieve very flat and distortion free glass.

Capabilities include sizes up to 92" x 144", thickness 1/8" to 3/4", and Low-E high performance coatings. All tempered glass products meet or exceed ANSI Z97.1 2004 and 16 CFR 1201 CII specifications.

Laminating Glass

When laminated safety glass breaks, the glass fragments remain firmly bonded to the internal layer, minimizing risk of injuries. Laminated glass can resist intrusion and provide protection in security applications. MLC Glass provides custom laminated glass that is comprised of various types of glass for use in specialty applications.

Spandrel Glass

MLC Glass Company is an APPROVED FACTORY FABRICATOR of Opaci-Coat 300, a patented water-based silicone coating with outstanding adhesion to architectural glass substrates, even those with reflective coatings! Opaci-Coat 300 dries to a rubber-like elastomeric film, free of lead or organic solvents, capable of handling at any stage with no fear of personal or environmental harm – a true “green” building material. In addition to standard colors, we also offer custom color matching using OPACI-COAT-300 silicone spandrel to meet your specific glass needs and requirements.
